Hydraulic Power
Hello, we are Haron, Oleh and Nahum and now we're going to explain to you our presentation
We divide our work in four parts
1-What is the Hydraulic power (introduction)
2-Where we use it (instalations)
3-In which countries they use it
4-Adventages and bad parts
1. Introduction
The hydraulic power is the enegy that we obtain with the moviment of the water, is very necessary to obtain electricity, they use the moviment of the water for move turbines to generate the electricity. They give this energy to the houses.
2. Instalations
The places where they do this proces is called hydroelectric plant.
3. Countries:
China: World's largest hydropower producer for example Three Gorges Dam.
Brazil: Significant hydropower generation, especially in the Amazon region.
Canada: Major producer, particularly in provinces like Quebec.
United States: Key renewable energy source, especially in the Northwest.
Russia: Extensive hydropower due to vast rivers.
India: Growing hydropower capacity, mainly in the northeast.
Norway: ~95% of electricity from hydropower.
Venezuela: Relies heavily on hydropower.
Paraguay: Hydropower-dominated, including the Itaipú Dam shared with Brazil.
4-Adventages and bad parts.
It has many advantages, for example, it is renewable so it does not run out, it has a low maintenance cost, and finally it also produces electricity constantly so it is very reliable. Everything good has a bad part, it has a very high environmental impact so it is very pollutant for the earth.
